It depends on the size of your project. A larger bin is always better value for money and we do tend to find that it’s more common that people wish they got a larger skip bin than a smaller one. We can help you select the right skip bin size if you’re unsure, just call our office for advice.
Generally you will not need a council permit if you’re placing the skip bin on your own land. If you want to place the bin on the nature strip, side of the road, or anywhere else that is classed as public land then it’s likely you will need a permit. No. Asbestos is a very dangerous product and is not allowed in our skip bins. There are special asbestos skip bins that come fully lined with special plastic. There are many regulations around dumping asbestos and it is illegal to dump asbestos incorrectly.
Overfilled skip bins present a great danger to other road users. Your waste can fly off the truck and cause injury and accidents to other citizens. If your bin is overloaded you will need to remove the excess waste before we can move the bin. You may be charged additional fees due to the extra time required for the truck drive to wait for you, or for re-collection.
No. Whether you keep it for the entire 7 days or for a shorter period, the price remains the same.
Unless you are going to be paying the driver then no you don’t have to be there when the bin is delivered. We will have all the details we need to deliver the bin to your property.
